Following Eva on a journey back to paradise, this eclectic experimental essay celebrates the beauty and fascination of nature while reminding us of the importance to reconnect with it. Oftentimes we tend to forget about this. But in the end we are all children of nature and by not appreciating it and taking care of it, we slowly destroy the foundations of our existence. As the American essayist and poet Henry David Thoreau once said, »There is a right way; but we are very liable from heedlessness and stupidity to take the wrong one.«

»Garden of Eden« was shot on super 8 film stock on location in South Africa and in Germany in March and August 2019.

The film features actress Christina Lindner.
